We made it!

We rode to Crissy Field to meet friends Erin and Emily for champagne at sunset!

Ferry Building!

We jumped on the Vallejo Ferry that will take us into San Francisco!  Feeling incredible.

What’s on the other side of this big hill, you ask? THE PACIFIC OCEAN!

Walnuts walnuts everywhere.

Despite the 30 mile/hour winds, we loved the big wide shoulders outside of Davis, CA- the most cycling friendly city we have encountered! Also, Courtney’s Sister Julia on “The Late Show with David Letterman” -NBD.

Denny’s outside of Yuba City, CA en route to Davis, CA. We are a little sad this is our last map.

Wiggin’ out at Wiggin’s Trading Post- Glad to be in California on our way to Portola for the night.

Crossing into California-our last state(!)-just outside of Reno, NV. The Sierra Valley is beautiful, but we couldn’t take a proper photo with the California sign because it was next to the highway and we were on the frontage road.

We dropped by Mono Lake for a night on our way up to Reno to meet my mom and grandpa in the Sierras. -C
